ALONDRA: How do you unwind your mind from the fine-print details of your case commitments?
ANI: After a long work day, which is every day as an attorney, *laughter* - I look forward to seeing my family. On my commute home, I think of us sitting together at the dinner table, watching a movie together to end the day. Time spent making memories with them is the highlight of my life. We travel together, too. I almost always travel with my two kids, and even preparing them for vacation is a demonstration of my love.

ALONDRA: What are a few things that most people wouldn’t know about you?
ANI: I love living a modern life, and I love being who I am without diluting my personality - especially in the legal sector. With me at all times, it’s essential that I have my favorite sunblock and lipgloss. Most people don’t know — well, except for my family and friends, that as serious of an attorney that I am, at heart I am very silly with those that I love. I like to enjoy the sweetness of life and always appreciate the ‘small’ things that are never truly ‘small’. I am full of infinite gratitude. When I look back to the making of these moments, I remember that the steps to becoming an attorney were really difficult. I feel complete when I piece together how far I have come. When I passed the California Bar, I had responsibilities that still needed my full integration - being a wife and mother of two little kids at the time. That season of preparation was one of the most difficult things I have ever done. It feels pretty amazing to enjoy the fruits of the seeds I planted with my eyes closed, staying faithful to my dreams of achieving greatness within myself.
