2023 Grammy Awards Fashion Favs

The Grammy Awards returned on Sunday for the 65th year to recognize music industry’s biggest and brightest talents. The award is the highest honor one could get in the industry and the world stops to see if their favorite artists grace the red carpet with an appearance. Its popularity and star studded guest list have made the Grammy Awards a stylists’ headache and a  fashionista’s dream. Here are our 5 favorite looks from the show this weekend:

Dencia, the Cameroonian singer, made a bold and memorable appearance on the red carpet Sunday. The slim fitting, black velvet dress went perfectly with the extravagant, blue-crystal collar. With gloves and tinted glasses, this look was giving Maleficent, Disney villain vibes—and we loved it!

The “Pressed” rapper, Cardi B, highlighted the red carpet with a custom Gaurav Gupta gown. Her electric blue dress had exaggerated features and nicely placed cutouts that gave her look a dreamy illusion.

Lizzo walked the red carpet in an orange Dolce & Gabbana cape with large flower shaped accents. Shortly after, she won Record of the Year for her hit song “About Damn Time.”

Doja Cat looked elegant on Sunday night in a black latex gown by Versace. She accessorized with black earrings, gloves, and a short haircut that elevated the look.

Although it seems plain, Steve Lacy, made our top 5 looks for the same reasons as Doja: elegance! Steve wore a double breasted, all black suit with a diamond and pearl brooch. He accessories with a black latex wallet and a pop of white on the tips of his shoes. Ok Steve!!
